The waterfall and the hut shouldn't be seen as a simple stroll. Continuing to the campsite significantly increases the elevation gain, duration, and equipment requirements; venturing to the glacier itself is not recommended without mountaineering experience and proper equipment.

History and meaning
For many decades, Ala-Archa has served as a key training and sports base for mountaineering in Kyrgyzstan. The Ak-Sai Gorge leads to the glaciers and peaks of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too.
